We’re a small, family-run business based in Seattle- and like so many dog owners, our story started with a walk that didn’t go as planned.
Back in 2004, one of our dogs lunged hard on the leash and caused a serious shoulder injury. It was a moment that made us realize two things: those sudden jerks aren’t just hard on people- they’re tough on dogs, too.
So we set out to create a simple solution.
That idea became Jerk-Ease®- a shock-absorbing leash extension designed to soften sudden pulls and make walks safer and more comfortable for both ends of the leash.
More than 20 years later, we’re still a small business, still based in Seattle, and still making every product in the USA. And Jerk-Ease® has been tried, tested, and trusted by thousands of dog owners along the way.
